🥈 2026 Olympic Silver Medalists
Cory Thiesse and Korey Dropkin have defined an era of American Mixed Doubles curling. From their 2023 World Championship gold to an Olympic silver in Milano Cortina, they represent everything the DarwinCooper Fund stands for — elite potential, realized.
Each team we sponsor is made up of two to five athletes who train and compete year-round — on the ice and in the gym. Though some receive partial funding from the USOPC, athletes and their families shoulder nearly all of their own expenses.
Travel, housing, meals, coaching, and entry fees can total $15,000–$20,000 per athlete annually. Most hold full-time jobs alongside their training. There are very few professionals in the sport.
The DarwinCooper Fund bridges that gap. We identify teams with Olympic potential and provide direct financial support — no overhead, no bureaucracy. Every dollar reaches the athletes.
The DarwinCooper Fund is entirely donation-driven — we receive no institutional grants, no corporate sponsorships, and no government funding. Every dollar we have comes from people like you who believe in American Olympic curling.
Because we operate with zero overhead, every cent you give goes directly to an athlete — covering travel, coaching, training, and competition costs. Nothing is skimmed off the top.
Would you consider a tax-deductible donation of $500 to $2,500? The DarwinCooper Fund granted over $35,000 in 2025–26 — but the need is growing. More teams, more opportunities, more athletes who deserve a real shot.

Questions about the Fund and where the money goes, the story of our name, or anything else, reach out and we'll respond promptly. Please note: DarwinCooper does not accept any funding requests or solicitations, and these will be politely declined.
The DarwinCooper Fund is operated by Darwin and Cooper — two individuals with a deep love for curling and the athletes who dedicate their lives to it.
Darwin Cooper Inc. is a registered non-profit in Massachusetts. All donations are tax-deductible.
